After eighteen months of falling prices, used Model Y values in Korea have flattened. A 2023 RWD (the Shanghai-built car) now trades between 38 and 42 million won depending on mileage, and 2024 Juniper cars sit around 48 million.

Three things drove the drop: the new-car price cuts, the arrival of the refreshed model, and a wave of ex-rental cars hitting the auctions. All three have now played out.

**What to look for.** Cars built before mid-2023 have the older LFP battery in RWD trims, which is fine for city use and charges to 100 percent without guilt. Ask for the service mode battery report. Check the rear subframe for corrosion on cars that lived near the coast.

**Warranty.** Battery and drive unit are covered for eight years or 160,000 km from first registration, and it transfers to the next owner.
